Job Description

 

Position: Compliance QA  

Reporting to: QA Manager

Location: Beechdean, Tattenhall (with travel to other locations for business needs)

Overview of the Role:

This position is based in all areas of the manufacturing facility as part of the quality team. Main responsibility is to carry out daily QA tasks as per schedule requirement.

​

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday: 06:30am–16:30pm (includes 30 minutes paid lunch break).

Friday: 06:30am–15:00pm (includes 30 minutes paid lunch break).

Hours may be variable dependent on business needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Report directly into QA Manager

  • Completion of the environmental testing schedule.

  • Completion of ATP swabbing schedule.

  • File and manage allergen swabs.

  • Responsible for collection and booking of all finished product samples to external lab.

  • Organisation of shelf-life samples for monthly testing.

  • Organise technical sample storage.

  • Organise taste panels

  • Volumetric checks

  • Weekly tank temperatures

  • Freezer / chiller temp checks

  • Calibration of tanks and probes

  • Calibration of scales

  • Completion of technical audits including GMP, fabrication, glass and plastic.

  • Organise the quarantine / placing on hold of non-conforming product or materials where required

  • Raise NCF's / Concession request to QA manager

  • Support QA Manager with any additional tasks when required

  • Support site for customer and third-party audits.
