Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Beechdean High Wycombe, with occasional travel to events and project sites

Hours: 40 hours per week with expectation of travel
Salary: £35 to £45,000 per annum

 

Overview
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Operations Assistant to support MD across a range of professional and personal ventures, including motorsport, event management, sales coordination, and hands-on project work. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coordination
• Assist in planning, organising, and running various events, including track days, client events, and development days.
• Manage logistics, guest communication, and on-the-day coordination to ensure events run smoothly.
• Supporting Sales events and shows

 

Sales & Promotion
• Run a sales operation for Beechdean, specific to the motorsport and asset disposal
• Promote and coordinate the sale of Beechdean items (e.g., pilot plant equipment, branded goods, and other materials).
• Manage and sell motorsport memorabilia and related items.
• Coordinate the sale of private items on behalf of MD, handling listings, enquiries, and transactions professionally.

 

Project Support
• Provide administrative and organisational support across core work projects, supporting senior management.
• Track progress and chase up on tasks from both MD and wider project teams.
• Assist with non-work projects, including farming and property-related activities.

 

General Support & Other Projects
• Get involved in hands-on or practical projects, such as tank restoration and maintenance of classic or vintage vehicles.
• Provide flexible assistance across a range of tasks as needed to support varied day-to-day operations.

 

Skills & Experience
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across different teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Basic understanding or enthusiasm for motorsport, events, and automotive projects.
• Sales or marketing experience (especially online sales) is highly beneficial.
• Practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to assist in diverse areas of work.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
