Pasteurisation Operative - Tattenhall

Beechdean is expanding it's operation and is currently looking to recruit more Operatives to join the team working in Pasteurisation. Initially working on days, to be trained, successful applicants will then move to a rotation of nights and days to meet Production demands.
Working days: Monday to Thursday
Working Hours: 06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00 (after training)
Pay: Hourly rate plus Pasteurisation Bonus plus Night Shift Allowance (if applicable).
Reporting to: Pasteurisation Lead
Responsibilities:
1. Produce mixes according to production plan and standard recipes.
2. Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
3. Manufacture quality and safe products
4. Respect the procedures in place to control CCPs:
5. Respect all pre-requisite procedures in place.
6. Complete the production paperwork/due diligence records in a correct and readable manner to ensure total Traceability.
7. Report any faults on process or equipment to the Pasteurisation Lead.
8. Liaise with Pasteurisation Lead regarding break times
9. Rotate (First In-First Out) raw materials ingredients and advise Pasteurisation Lead of any over or under stock positions or ingredients going out of date according to the “Storage” procedure.
10.Ensure that all ingredients are available for the following few days production (including the thawing of any frozen ingredient stocks as necessary, respecting the “Defrosting” procedure.
11.Carry out any other task requested by Pasteurisation Lead as necessary to help Beechdean achieve its’ goals described in the company policies/statements.
12.To enthusiastically join in with the whole Beechdean Team to make the best ice cream available, in the most efficient way, whilst still enjoying ourselves.
13.Continually feedback suggestions to team Leader on how procedures/processes can be improved
14.Respect the COSHH regulations and all other areas covered by the adopted Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
