About the Role:
As a Pasteurisation Operative you will be mixing liquid such as milk, cream with other ingredients to prepare liquid mix ready to produce ice cream.
Hours of work: Rotation Shifts - 46 hours per week
Week 1: 05:00 – 14:45 Week 2: 12:00 – 21:45
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Responsibilities:
• Produce mixes according to production plan and standard recipes.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
• Manufacture quality and safe products
• Respect the procedures in place to control CCPs:
• Respect all pre-requisite procedures in place.
• Complete the production paperwork/due diligence records in a correct and readable manner to ensure total Traceability.
• Weigh powders in accordance with recipes.
• Report any faults on process or equipment to the Pasteurisation Lead.
• Liaise with Pasteurisation Lead regarding break times
• Rotate (First In-First Out) raw materials ingredients and advise Pasteurisation Lead of any over or under stock positions or ingredients going out of date according to the “Storage” procedure.
• Respecting the “Defrosting” procedure.
• Carry out any other task requested by Pasteurisation Lead as necessary to help Beechdean achieve its’ goals described in the company policies/statements.
• To enthusiastically join in with the whole Beechdean Team to make the best ice cream available, in the most efficient way, whilst still enjoying ourselves.
• Continually feedback suggestions to team Leader on how procedures/processes can be improved
• Respect the COSHH regulations and all other areas covered by the adopted Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

• Experience of working within a production environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
