Position: Production Supervisor
Reporting to: Production Manager
Rate of pay: £13 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 45 Hours per week Monday - Friday
Location: Beechdean Manufacturing, Tattenhall, Cheshire
Overview of role:
The main purpose of the role is to Supervise and lead a team of production operators, being responsible for the set up and operation of the production facility. The main objective of the
Production team is to produce a safe and quality product in a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities:
•    Coordinate the activities of production operatives in the factory and manage the shift in that department
•    Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met
•    Completion of paperwork and data entry on time and in detail, to agreed reporting structure
•    Leader and mentor to the team
•    Assist with labour planning for the department
•    Control Breaks and staff rotation in the department
Food safety, Health & Safety / HR:
•    Ensure daily compliance with all Health and Safety, Food safety and GMP requirements
•    Report any Health and Safety issues onsite to the Production Manager
•    Report any Food safety issues to the Production Manager
•    Only use machinery as trained and authorised
•    Ensure due diligence onsite and operate in a respectful way to all members of staff and visitors
