About the Role:
As a Pasteurisation Operative, you’ll play a key role in bringing our ice cream to life. Working at the start of the production process, you’ll carefully blend milk, cream, and ingredients to create high-quality mixes ready for production.
This is a hands-on role where precision, teamwork, and pride in your work make all the difference.
You’ll be on your feet and lifting throughout the shift, so you must be comfortable with physical work.
Hours of work: Rotation Shifts - 46 hours per week
Week 1: 05:00 – 14:45 Week 2: 14:30 – 00:15
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Rate of Pay: £13.50 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
· Producing mixes in line with production plans and recipes
· Weighing and preparing ingredients with accuracy
· Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and housekeeping
· Ensuring all products meet quality and food safety standards
· Following procedures for critical control points (CCPs) and food safety
· Completing production records clearly to ensure full traceability
· Monitoring stock rotation (FIFO) and highlighting any issues
· Reporting equipment or process faults promptly
· Supporting the wider team and contributing to continuous improvement
· Adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
What We’re Looking For
· Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
· Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
· A positive attitude with honesty and integrity
